What is with this name?

Rødgrød med Fløde is not only a traditional Danish dessert, but one of the funniest and most iconic tongue-twisters for foreigners (aka.Denmark’s unofficial pronunciation test). Danes love watching foreigners attempt this impossible tongue-twister mostly because of its mix of tricky vowels and soft consonants makes your mouth feel like it’s doing Nordic gymnastics. When you finally say it correctly, Danes look at you with genuine pride, as if you’ve just completed stage one of becoming truly Danish.

To me, Rødgrød med Fløde is the representation of the pros and cons, the sweet and sours of living abroad, the challenges and the perks, and the kickstart of this exciting writing adventure.
